A school bus crash in Queens sent 15 people, including children, to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, according to the FDNY.

The FDNY said it received a call at 1:26 p.m. reporting the accident near the Long Island Expressway and Grand Central Parkway at 108th St. in Rego Park.

Nine children and six adults were taken to Elmhurst Hospital with minor injuries, according to the FDNY. A schools official said no students were hurt.

“Following an incident involving a school bus earlier today, all students and staff are safe,” said Isla Gething, a spokeswoman for New York City Public Schools. “NYPD and EMS responded quickly and ensured that there were no reported student injuries, and everyone was safely escorted away from the scene.”

“We are closely monitoring the situation and remain in regular communication with the school, students, staff and families.”
