Ticketmaster has canceled thousands of tickets for Harry Styles’ 30-night residency at New York City’s Madison Square Garden that were bought by scalpers.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday (April 22), Ticketmaster president Saumil Mehta revealed the company discovered scalpers used “multiple accounts and fake identities” to purchase tickets with the intent of reselling for a profit. Those canceled tickets will soon be available for sale “at the original price.”
Starting on April 30 at 12 p.m. ET, you can submit a request for tickets on Styles’ Ticketmaster page. “Submitting a request does NOT guarantee tickets,” the company said. “Fans who don’t yet have tickets to the NYC shows will be prioritized.” This request window will last until 5 p.m. ET on May 1.
If your request has been fulfilled, you will receive confirmation email, with seat details, by May 8 at 11:59 p.m.
Mehta said those who bought tickets through Ticketmaster or received transferred or resale tickets will not be affected.
On the Together, Together Tour, Styles will perform in six cities—Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, and Sydney—from May through December. His run in Madison Square Garden spans from August 26 to October 31.
