NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released a composite sketch on Thursday of a suspect wanted for the rape and robbery of a 50-year-old woman in the Bronx last week.
It happened at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, April 17 while the victim was inside a building near West 164th Street and Ogden Avenue in Highbridge, cops said.
According to police, the woman was approached by the suspect, who sexually assaulted her then stole $50 and a yellow metal chain with a cross pendant before fleeing on foot.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect is described to be 5’7″ tall and between 30 and 40 years old. He was last seen wearing a gray New York Yankees hat.
