MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A new mental health clinic is welcoming military families in and around Manhattan.
The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone says its presence expands mental health services to over 180,000 veterans, active service-members, and family members across Kansas.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our grand opening in Manhattan as we expand access to critical mental health services for military families across Kansas,” Dr. Anthony Hassan, president and CEO of Cohen Veterans Network, said. “Our support from the Robert R. McCormick Foundation and partnership with Centerstone are instrumental to making this clinic a reality, enabling us to provide veterans, service members and their families with immediate access to the mental health care they deserve.”

The Cohen Veterans Network says it chose Manhattan for its proximity to Fort Riley, adding to a network of 24 clinics across 21 states. It’s the organization’s first site in Kansas.
