NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released images Friday of a suspect who allegedly sucker punched an 88-year-old man to the ground on a Queens street this week.
The victim was randomly attacked as he walked at 148th Street and Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said his attacker — wearing a “Scarface” hoodie — walked up around 1:30 p.m. and punched him in the face, causing him to fall to the ground.
EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect fled on foot and was last seen headed eastbound on Jamaica Avenue, police said.
