I love your outfit.
Thank you. My mother got the hat for me. It’s from Philip Treacy; he’s made hats for Queen Camilla and another queen, Oprah Winfrey. Someone was teasing me at church because they said, “Oh, you got new Easter clothes?” But I didn’t get anything new. Everything just came out of my closet.

I saw the church was at capacity and some folks didn’t make it in. Does that happen often?
It doesn’t happen every Sunday, but sometimes the building is at capacity and we follow the fire code. It’s a good problem to have because, unfortunately, a lot of churches in Harlem have closed, so we know that every person who wants to come through our doors is a blessing.
