BROOKLYN PARK, MN — A small plane crashed near Crystal Airport on Saturday, killing everyone on board, according to reports citing Brooklyn Park officials.
The Federal Aviation Administration told KARE 11 that the plane crashed in a residential neighborhood near 62nd Avenue North and Florida Avenue North after departing Crystal Airport. The plane caught fire after the crash.
A KSTP report citing police said none of the plane’s occupants survived the crash. Reports said two people were on board the plane.
Authorities said no one on the ground was injured, and no property was damaged.
The National Transportation Safety Board confirmed the plane was a single-engine Beech F33A aircraft. The agency is investigating the crash.
