Established more than 165 years ago as a general mercantile, the Adirondack General Store has remained one of the oldest and most authentic general stores in the Adirondack Park. Nestled on the east shore of Schroon Lake, the store has evolved into a multi-faceted business that balances “old-world charm with modern twists.” It remains a “must-visit” landmark for those seeking authentic North Country hospitality and high-quality local goods.
