Detectives said they are on the hunt for a woman who allegedly viciously beat an 83-year-old man at a Bronx bus stop last Monday.
According to police sources, the disturbing incident unfolded at around 1:30 p.m. on April 20 near Southern Boulevard and East 167 Street. Cops said the senior was exiting a BX35 bus when he accidentally bumped into the female suspect. She became enraged, and a dispute erupted before she shoved him to the ground and kicked his head repeatedly.
While she fled the scene on foot, the victim was left with bruising and small lacerations to the head. He was rushed to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspect. She had red hair and was last seen wearing all black with a green coat.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
