Riley County road closed Monday because of flood waters

ZEANDALE, Kan. (WIBW) – A Riley County road was closed Monday morning as a result of high water in the area, officials said.

The closure was in the vicinity of the 5800 block of Zeandale Road, which is about four miles southeast of Manhattan.

Zeandale Road is K-18 highway at that location.

According to a post on the Riley County Police Department’s Facebook page, the closure took place because of “high flood waters.”

Riley County Police officials said the roadway would be close until further notice and motorists were advised to use alternate routes.
