U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo says Nasif Talukder pleaded guilty on Tuesday to Transferring Obscene Material to a Minor.

TONAWANDA, N.Y. — A Bronx man pleaded guilty on Tuesday to meeting a 14-year-old girl at a park in Tonawanda.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, Nasif Talukder, 24, pleaded guilty to Transferring Obscene Material to a Minor.

U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo says in March 2024, Talukder met a 14-year-old girl on a teen-chat.org and offered her $100 to engage in sexual activity. During their conversation on the social platform, the victim told Talukder ‘Also, I’m 14.’

Talukder met the victim at a park in Tonawanda and paid her $100 after engaging in sexual activity with her.

Talukder faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines when he is sentenced.
