LONGWOOD, the Bronx (PIX11) — An 83-year-old man was beaten by an irate rider while getting off a Bronx MTA bus last week, police said.
The suspect allegedly attacked the man while he was exiting the BX35 bus near Southern Boulevard and East 167th Street in Longwood at around 1:30 p.m. on April 20, according to the NYPD.

Police said the victim was pushed to the ground and kicked multiple times in the head, causing several injuries. It was unclear if the man was hospitalized.
The suspect was mad that the 83-year-old man bumped into them while getting off the bus, according to the NYPD.
The red-haired suspect then fled the scene on foot, police said. There have been no arrests.
