MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Britain’s King Charles and Queen Camilla are continuing their trip to the United States on Wednesday with a visit to New York City.
The royal couple will attend a 9/11 memorial for a wreath-laying ceremony where Mayor Zohran Mamdani will also be in attendance.
New Yorkers are cautioned to watch for street closures and gridlock, as the NYPD has already set up barricades around the area.
Last night, the royal couple attended a state dinner at the White House.
Before that, King Charles became the second British monarch to address Congress.
He marked the 250th anniversary of American independence from Britain and the alliance between the two countries.
