Six new, deserving young girls have assumed the Relay for Life crowns in Chilton County following the 2026 Relay for Life Pageant on April 25. This year’s pageant was the 12th annual event and was held inside McKee Auditorium at Chilton County High School.
This year’s queens are set to lead the fight against cancer in Chilton County over their next year of reign. May is Relay for Life month in Chilton County, and every year the pageant kicks off the festivities.
This year, Kinnsley Traywick was crowned as the new Miss Relay for Life Queen in Chilton County, assuming the crown from 2025 Miss Relay for Life Queen Alanna Cleckler. Joining Traywick is Scarlett Davis as the Junior Miss Relay for Life Queen, Avery Smitherman as the Young Miss Relay for Life Queen, Erin McElroy as the Little Miss Relay for Life Queen, Haizel Grace Smith as the Tiny Miss Relay for Life Queen and Sutton Bea Stilwell as the Wee Miss Relay for Life Queen.
At the pageant, Sunny Mays, Chilton County Relay for Life Pageant Director, and the new 2026 queens presented the Town of Maplesville and Mayor W.C. Hayes with a plaque to commemorate their longstanding contributions to the pageant. The Town of Maplesville has been the top sponsor of the pageant by donating $4,250 over the years.
