Ball’s late home runs kept the pressure on, but Manhattan couldn’t complete the comeback.
In the circle, Allison Heidrick went six innings, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits while striking out two and walking seven.
Game 2 turned into a back-and-forth battle, with both teams trading big innings throughout.
Manhattan again struck first, as Foveaux launched a solo home run in the opening inning.
Seaman answered with three runs in the bottom of the first, but the Indians responded in the second when Young tied the game with an RBI single.

The Indians then took the lead in the sixth with a five-run inning, highlighted by a two-run home run from Neitzel and a two-RBI single by Ava Gaither that gave Manhattan a 12-9 advantage.
But Seaman had the final answer.
The Vikings scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to reclaim the lead, using two home runs, a double and an error to go back in front 14-12.
Manhattan finished with 15 hits in the nightcap, with Alesana, Chase and Gaither each collecting three. Young, Ball and Neitzel each drove in two runs, while Ball also reached base twice via walks.
