New York state and the chip manufacturer Micron announced on Thursday a joint apprenticeship program to help train the people who may be staffing the chip manufacturing plant that Micron is building in Central New York.
Fran Dillard, Micron’s vice president of global talent acquisition and workforce, and Robert Geer, vice president for education and workforce development at NY CREATES, joined Capital Tonight Thursday to discuss the program.
