ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Four R&B legends will share one stage in St. Louis on Mother’s Day weekend.
Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Stephanie Mills and Gladys Knight will perform Sunday, May 10, at Enterprise Center. The icons are behind timeless classics like “I’m Every Woman,” “Lady Marmalade,” “Midnight Train to Georgia” and “Never Knew Love Like This Before.”
The Queens sat down with First Alert 4 ahead of the St. Louis show.
Patti LaBelle, also known as the “Godmother of Soul,” told First Alert 4, “You’re coming to see mothers do their thing. We’re all mothers. So we’re all mothers. We all have something in common. And Mother’s Day is every day. Not just that day.”
“The Queens” is nominated for Pollstar’s 2026 R&B Tour of the Year. The performers said audiences on this tour have been showing up.
“Amazingly, we’re getting a lot of love, a lot of love, a lot of respect, a lot of wanting us to come back a lot. It’s fun,” said Stephanie Mills.
The show is bringing generations together.
“We have the young and the old coming out. So we love that the younger generation is coming to see our music and hear our music, maybe for the first time. So that’s exciting,” said Mills.
