A body has been recovered from the rubble of a Queens home that was destroyed in a fiery explosion, the NYPD said Friday.

The five-alarm blaze tore through the South Ozone Park home overnight Thursday, starting with a “massive” explosion that injured police officers who were responding to a domestic dispute, authorities said.

Police didn’t immediately identify the person found dead at the site. An investigation is ongoing.

Police didn’t immediately identify the person found dead at the site, and an investigation is ongoing

Authorities said 50-year-old Anroop Parasram forced his way into the home’s basement apartment, where his wife, daughter and two grandchildren lived, just before 3 a.m. Thursday.

Surveillance footage showed him carrying garbage bags filled with canisters that contained an unknown substance into the home. Once he was inside, he allegedly threatened his wife with a knife.

Police officers arrived at the scene after his family members managed to flee the apartment.

As the officers tried to open the front door, the house exploded, sending glass and debris flying, NYPD body camera footage shows.

The force of the blast threw the officers to the ground.

Crying children could be seen and heard emerging from the smoke and rubble as officers got back on their feet to rescue them.

Seven officers and a firefighter were treated for injuries at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, authorities said.

“I want to be clear. We got very lucky today,” Christopher McIntosh, commanding officer of Patrol Borough Queens South, said at a news briefing. “This could have turned out really differently.”

As of Thursday, police said they had not been able to locate Parasram.

Authorities said he had three expired orders of protection against him, all of which were filed by a family member who lived at the apartment.
