MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man is being held in the Riley County Jail under a $40,000 bond after being arrested Thursday.
According to the Riley County Police Department, Elijah James Smith, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. on April 30 in the 1000 block of South Seth Child Road.
Smith was arrested in connection with four counts of violating the offender registration act, two counts of perjury and one count of aggravated violation of the offender registration act.
He was issued a total bond of $40,000 and remains in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
