Thousands of cyclists are getting ready to participate in this weekend’s TD Five Boro Bike Tour.
The 40-mile course starts in Lower Manhattan and ends on Staten Island.
Organizers call it the largest charitable bike ride in the world, with profits going toward Bike New York, which offers bike education programs around the city.
Ken Podziba, the president and CEO of Bike New York, joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday to talk about the race and the programming the organization runs year-round.
