CORONA, Queens (PIX11) — A hazmat team responded to a multi-alarm fire early Monday morning in Queens due to propane tanks, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 33-16 96th Street around 4:04 a.m.

Fire officials say around 141 fire and EMS personnel responded to the two-alarm fire.

Operations are ongoing.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.
