BAYSIDE, Queens (PIX11) — One person and one firefighter were injured in a fire that broke our in Bayside on Monday morning, according to the FDNY
The fire was reported around 8:51 a.m. at 39-19 220 street between 39th Avenue and 40th Avenue.
Fire officials say that 79 fire and EMS personnel responded to the fire.
The fire was reported on the first floor of the house.
One firefighter sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital. One other person with minor injuries refused medical attention.
The fore was brought under control around 9:43 a.m. on Monday.
Investigations are ongoing.
