QUEEN CREEK, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities are investigating after a small plane went off the runway at an East Valley airport late Tuesday morning.
Around 11 a.m., Queen Creek police received reports of a plane off of the runway at Pegasus Airpark, near Empire Boulevard and Ellsworth Road. Luckily, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Video from Arizona’s Family news chopper showed a small plane in a grassy area next to the runway. Pieces of the aircraft were torn off.

The runway is currently closed while crews clear the area.
