NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – New York City’s largest pride celebration will be helmed by beloved “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and “Saturday Night Live” stars, Pride March organizers announced.
The tradition brings millions of New Yorkers to Fifth Avenue in June, complete with performances, bright costumes, and parade floats from 26th Street to 15th Street.

Who are the 2026 Pride March Grand Marshals?
This year, Pride March will be led by five grand marshals:
“SNL” star Bowen Yang
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” contender Peppermint
“POSE” actress Dominique Jackson
Advocates with Gays Against Guns
Bernie Wagenblast, the voice of the MTA
Wagenblast, known for voicing announcements like “Please stand away from the platform edge,” socially transitioned in her 60s. She’s recently appeared at prominent events like Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s inauguration.
“Visibility comes in many forms. In my case, it’s by being a voice New Yorkers, and visitors to New York, hear in their daily travels. I hope it serves as a reminder that trans folks are part of everyday life and that it encourages others in their journeys toward authenticity,” she said.
Yang, known for his podcast “Las Culturistas,” says New York City helped him find his community.
“The Pride March has held my best memories and also my most dehydrated,” he said.
Pride March kicks off on June 28 at 12 p.m. at 26th Street and Fifth Avenue. The tradition began in 1969 as a commemoration of the Stonewall riots, organizers said.
