The Pitt star Briones will depart the show later this month, and Holt will assume the role of Connie Francis in the musical about Bobby Darin’s life and career.

Isa Briones has set her departure date from Just in Time on Broadway, playing her final performance in the musical on May 29. Starting May 30, Briones will be succeeded by Olivia Holt in the role of Connie Francis.

Briones, best known for playing Dr. Trinity Santos on HBO Max’s The Pitt, joined the Just in Time cast April 1. She previously made her Broadway debut in Hadestown in 2024 and performed in All Nighter off Broadway.

Holt made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago in 2023, and she is best known for her breakout roles in Disney Channel’s Kickin’ It, Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, and Freeform/Hulu’s Cruel Summer.

She will join a cast that includes Jeremy Jordan as Bobby Darin, Carrie St. Louis as Sandra Dee, Debbie Gravitte as Polly, Emily Bergl as Nina/Mary, Joe Barbara as Steve Blauner and others, Lance Roberts as Ahmet Ertegun and others, and Caesar Samayoa as Don Kirchner and others.

Just in Time centers on the life and career of 20th-century crooner Bobby Darin, set to his catalog of hit songs like “Splish Splash,” “Dream Lover,” “Mack the Knife,” and “Beyond the Sea.” The Circle in the Square Theatre is set up like a nightclub to make the show a semi-immersive throwback to the ’50s and ’60s.
