MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – An electronic scooter crash on Thursday afternoon sent one person to a Manhattan hospital, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 3:16 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Westwood Road and Walnut Drive, on the southwest side of Manhattan.
According to Riley County Police officials, an e-scooter crashed at that location and the rider, identified as Jeffery Tinnean, 61, of Manhattan, had fallen off, resulting in a head injury.

Tinnean was transported by ambulance to Ascension Via Christi Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
