BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A 13-year-old boy is in critical condition after being struck by a car in Brooklyn on Friday, according to police.
The teen was taken to the hospital with severe head trauma after he was struck by a Blue Nissan Versa at the intersection of 15th Avenue and 38th Street in Borough Park around 8 a.m., authorities and fire officials said.

The driver remained at the scene and the incident is under investigation.
