FLATBUSH – AN OLDER WOMAN was punched and bitten by an unknown person on a Q train in Flatbush last week, police said.
At around 7:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, on a northbound Q train at the Newkirk Avenue station, a 66-year-old woman was approached by an unidentified person who started an argument and then assaulted her, punching her in the face and biting her left forearm before fleeing the train.
The victim was taken to Maimonides Midwood Community Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries.
In images released by the police, the suspect appears to be a middle-aged woman with a dark complexion and short, straight, dark hair. She was wearing a dark-colored coat.
