Pastry chef Caroline Schiff is previewing her forthcoming diner with a pop-up series at the Brooklyn Museum in November. Expect dishes like bread, deviled eggs, cream of tomato soups, and coconut cakes.

The pop-up is taking place at the museum’s cafe over the weekends in November: Saturdays and Sundays, November 1 to 2, 8 to 9, and 15 to 16, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. To go to the restaurant, you’ll have to buy a museum ticket ($20 suggested donation for adults).

Schiff’s unnamed diner is set to open sometime next year with an address to come later. She was a James Beard Award finalist in the Outstanding Pastry Chef category in 2022 during her time at Gage & Tollner.
