A 60-year-old e-bike cyclist who was hospitalized after colliding with a 72-year-old woman in Brooklyn died of his injuries two weeks later, cops said Tuesday.
Claud Sealy was riding his e-bike south on Flatbush Ave. when he struck the elderly pedestrian near New York Ave. in Midwood shortly before 9 p.m. on April 25, according to law enforcement.
Medics rushed both Sealy and the injured woman to Kings County Hospital, where the e-bike rider died on May 9. The woman is expected to survive.
Sealy lived in Flatbush about a mile from where the crash scene.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad.
