BROOKLYN, N.Y (PIX11) — Want to enjoy the water and city skyline views? Try Brooklyn’s free kayaking.

The borough’s popular free kayaking program is coming back for the season.

Starting May 27 through August, the program will offer free 20 minute kayaking within a protected embayment with sweeping views of the New York City. The kayak dock is located between Piers 1 and 2 in the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Reservations will open soon for the season.

Free Kayak Hours

Wednesdays: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursdays: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sundays: 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

In September, free sessions continue on Saturdays only.
