Actors, reality stars, and Peloton instructors will be running alongside the approximately 29,000 runners this year in the Brooklyn Half.
This year’s race will, as usual, feature some familiar faces for fans of theater, reality television, and even the good ol’ morning news. Below, here are the celebrities and public figures running the 2026 Brooklyn Half.

Errol Barnett
CBS News anchor and national correspondent Errol Barnett is an avid runner who frequently shares about his running journey on Instagram and on YouTube. Last March, he documented his NYC Half experience on YouTube, saying that although it had been his slowest half marathon to date at 1:38:47 with a 7:33 split, “I finally learned, after all this time, how to properly pace myself. […] Now, I have those memories and these skills to take with me forever.” Considering he achieved a 3:17:01 time in last year’s NYC Marathon, it seems likely he’ll beat out his NYC Half time in the Brooklyn Half on Saturday.

Keri René Fuller
Broadway’s current Elphaba, also known for her role as Jane Seymour in Six the Musical, will be running her first-ever race before performing in Wicked this Saturday.

Matt James
You may know Matt James as the former Bachelor whose relationship frequently made headlines, but the former football player is actually a serious runner who has finished multiple marathons, most recently the 2026 Boston Marathon in April.

Patina Miller
Patina Miller, star of Raising Kanan and winner of multiple Tony Awards (for roles in Sister Act and Pippin), started running just a few years ago but has grown in leaps and bounds ever since. She’s run marathons in New York, London, and Berlin, reaching a PR of 3:52:44 in the NYC Marathon last year. And she’s done it all as a supporter of NYRR Team for Kids; last year, she mentored a youth cohort for NYRR’s Run for the Future race.

Vinny Guadagnino
Jersey Shore star turned comedian and podcaster Vinny Guadagnino’s latest venture is to “conquer all five boroughs” as a runner, according to an NYRR press release about the NYC Half in March. “We have a little slogan, Vinny runs the city,” said Guadagnino at the time. “We want to keep doing big things in the running world.” Looks like Saturday will bring him one borough closer to his goals!
Camila Ramón and Mariana Fernandez
As Peloton’s Spanish-language cycling and yoga instructors, respectively, Camila Ramón and Mariana Fernandez are teaming up to run the Brooklyn Half, and we can be confident that they’ll have some of the best playlists of the group.
