MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A 30-year-old man is feeling the sting of losing $2,500 on an online scam having to do with a bicycle in an incident reported in Manhattan.
Riley County police officers filed a fraud report around 12:52 p.m. Thursday in the 1500 block of College Avenue.
The victim told police he purchase a bike online from what turned out to be a fraudulent seller.
A 30-year-old man was scammed out of $2,500 in an online bike deal in Manhattan, officials said.(KWCH)
