NEW YORK (PIX11) — A “Stop Mamdani Rally” will be held on Sunday in Brooklyn, organized by local assembly member Michael Novakhov, who represents New York’s 45th district.

The rally aims to bring together residents from across New York to demand safer streets, stronger support for law enforcement, and leadership that prioritizes public safety and the well-being of working citizens.

Set to take place in Brighton Beach, the event is organized in response to New York City Mayor Zophran Mamdani’s “radical communist agenda,” according to a media advisory obtained by PIX11 News.

The advisory indicates that attendees, including New York City residents, plan to voice opposition to rising extremism, antisemitism, anti-police sentiment, and anti-American and anti-Israel ideologies that are allegedly gaining traction in the city.

Other elected officials are expected to attend.

PIX11 News reached out to the Mayor’s office for comment, but officials were not immediately available.
