QNS reached out to a couple of dynamic groups featured at Resorts World. They took time from their hectic schedules to talk about their music and more.

Priceless band – whose musical style is Motown, Top 40 funk, disco pop and soft rock — has been playing at Resorts World New York City for five-plus years, and you can experience their great vibes at their upcoming show on Wednesday, June 3 at 8 p.m. in the Red Wall Art Gallery.

Saundra Price is the group’s talented female lead singer, and the band, whose members live in Queens and Brooklyn, is named after her. She is accompanied by two male lead singers, as well as her daughter Brianna, who sings with Price during the band’s Atlantic City gigs. Priceless also features three musicians playing bass, keyboard and drums. On special occasions, they perform with a nine-piece band, which includes guitar and two-piece horn section.

QNS: Why are you excited about performing at the casino?

Saundra Price: You can feel it the second you walk in. Resorts World New York City is buzzing right now. Ever since they rolled out their table games, the entire casino floor has this electric, nonstop energy that spills into every corner of the property. It’s quickly becoming one of the hottest spots in the city, and that kind of atmosphere feeds directly into our live performance. Playing there puts you right in the middle of the momentum. You’ve got crowds that are already hyped – people moving, celebrating and looking for a great time – and that makes it easy for a band to connect and take things to another level. It’s not just another gig; it feels like you’re a part of something that’s really happening right now!

QNS: What makes your shows a special experience?

SP: The electric energy that we get from the audience creates a priceless atmosphere. They dance all night long and often shout ‘encore!’ by the end of the show.

You will see a live concert, unlike any other – with dance steps, awesome outfits and voices likened to some of your favorite celebs and groups, like Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Earth Wind and Fire and others.

QNS: Where else does Priceless perform?

SP: We have a monthly residency at Resorts World and Empire City Casino in Yonkers. We also perform in Atlantic City at Harrah’s, Bally’s, Golden Nugget and other casinos. And we play at weddings, corporate events, festivals and private parties, as well. We do it all!

White Wedding has been playing at Resorts World for eight years. JC Keys Cascio, the band’s leader/manager, told QNS: “It’s our home base in Queens; one of the few places we perform that our family, friends and fans can see us in the borough.”

Don’t miss their next performance at Resorts World on Saturday, June 27 (check site for time, casino location).

Describing their musical style and vibe, Cascio added: “Our band is popular for their 80s and 90s shows that explore that great transition of music. We try and bring our audience back to those decades, as we all would like to remember them.”

White Wedding will be performing on Tuesday, July 21, during the Juniper Valley Summer Concert Series in Middle Village. The group has played in Queens at The Little Theater at St. John’s University, B.B. King Blues Club and Grill (closed in 2018), Hammerstein Ballroom at Manhattan Center, Irving Plaza (ballroom-style music venue in Manhattan), and Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan.
