A vehicle caught fire and burned dramatically in New York’s Financial District on Tuesday, May 19.
Video filmed by Thomas Waga shows the car engulfed in flames just outside the Bowling Green subway station, sending clouds of black smoke billowing down Broadway. Several small explosions could be heard as the fire raged.
ABC 7 reported the vehicle “appeared to be MTA-affiliated” and the fire was extinguished by the FDNY around 7 pm local time.
