BROOKLYN, N.Y. (KLTV) – Former Van Vandal Hoss Brewer tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Brooklyn’s 7-3 loss to Hudson Valley on Tuesday.
In 15 innings this season, Brewer has a 4.20 ERA with 15 strikeouts.
The right-hander entered the game in the ninth inning. Brewer got Kaeden Kent to fly out to left and Wilson Rodriguez to ground out to second base. He issued a walk to Eric Genther before getting Kyle West to fly out and end the inning.
Brewer threw 21 pitches, 11 for strikes.
Brooklyn (10-29) continues its series against Hudson Valley on Wednesday.
