Water Rushes Down Subway Stairs as Severe Storm Lashes New York

Water rushed down the stairs at a subway station in New York on Wednesday, May 20, as a severe thunderstorm hit the area.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning and a severe thunderstorm watch.

It said, “A few severe thunderstorms are possible from mid to late afternoon ahead of an approaching cold front.”
