DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) – A Decatur firefighter’s teen daughter has died after a nearly two-year battle with cancer.
Brooklyn Williams was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumor almost two years ago.
The Arab and Decatur community raised money for medical costs to help “Team Brooklyn” and to support her father, Decatur Firefighter Matt Williams, after news of her diagnosis spread.
A post on the Team Brooklyn Facebook page said: “her smile, strength, and joy that she brought to others will never be forgotten.”
