STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island residents should prepare for roadway repairs and maintenance work scheduled for next week.

The Department of Transportation Roadway Repair and Maintenance Division announced the work will take place throughout Staten Island beginning Nov. 3.

No roadwork will be conducted on Tuesday, Nov. 4, in observance of Election Day.

According to the department, in-house paving crews will work during daytime hours within Community Board 2. Additional maintenance crews will operate across multiple Community Boards throughout both day and night.

Officials noted that while this work is essential for maintaining safe and efficient roadways, it may cause temporary detours and street closures in affected areas.

See below for the full paving schedule, as provided by the city. The schedule is subject to change due to weather or emergency road repairs, according to the Department of Transportation.
