SUNSET PARK – FIREFIGHTERS EXTINGUISHED A bus on fire underneath the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway on Wednesday night, reports the New York Post.
The fire was reported shortly before 8 p.m. at 19th Street and 3rd Avenue, with the bus already fully ablaze when firefighters arrived. It was quickly put out, but photos from the scene show that the bus’s upper portion had burned down to almost nothing. The bus was described as “abandoned,” with its owner unknown.
The fire marshal will determine the cause of the fire.
