NEW YORK – The outdoor photography exhibition by Greek-American Eva Mallis entitled ‘My Love Letter to Queens’ is hosted in Astoria Park until the end of July 2026. Through her lens, the acclaimed photographer captures fleeting images of the street, inviting the viewer to reflect on moments that often go unnoticed in their everyday lives.
The exhibition includes a series of photographs focusing on the people who make up the daily life of Queens, NY, the most multicultural area in the United States. Queens, which includes Astoria, is home to residents who speak over 130 languages and come from every corner of the world, building their lives through work, family and community.
Each image, a momentary narrative, offers a new perspective on everyday activities, and conveys the pulse of the times, capturing the resilience, vitality and humanity that shape the characteristics of each Queens neighborhood.
