This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Park Slope, Windsor Terrace, Bay Ridge, and Sunset Park. How did they fare?
First up, tucked between taller row houses, this Park Slope Neo-Grec is a few blocks from Grand Army Plaza. The two-family brownstone has been updated, but still retains wood floors, mantels, a stair with substantial newel post, and a stair niche (aka coffin corner). This former House of the Day sold in March for $3 million, which was $5,000 over the asking price.
In Windsor Terrace, this late 19th century row house, a semi-detached single-family, features a 16.67-foot-wide porch. It hadn’t changed hands in decades. This former Open House Pick sold in January for $1.7 million, which was $99,000 under the asking price.
In Bay Ridge, this circa 1920s single-family standalone has wood floors, stained glass, a renovated kitchen, and a garage. This former Open House Pick sold in April for $1.6 million, which was $75,000 under the asking price.
Finally, on the top floor of a 1920s Finnish co-operative in Sunset Park, this modest one-bedroom needs work to restore its floors but has potential with original moldings, high ceilings, big windows, and a sizable outdoor space with loggia. This former Co-op of the Day entered contract in February.
