MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was arrested over the weekend in connection with an attempted break-in of an automated teller machine in Manhattan, officials said.
The incident was reported around 11:16 a.m. Monday in the 1000 block of Hylton Heights Road, on the west side of Manhattan.
Riley County police officers filed a report of attempted theft or property or services and computer unlawful acts in connection with the incident.
Riley County Police arrested Alexander Jose Lopez Cedeno, 18, of Chicago, in connection with an attempted break-in of an automated teller machine that was reported late Saturday in Manhattan, officials said.(WIBW)
Intrust Bank was listed as the victim when it was reported that an unknown person wearing a mask was attempting to break into an ATM.
Riley County police subsequently arrested Alexander Jose Lopez Cedeno, 18, of Chicago, around 12:40 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Hylton Heights Road.
Cedeno was booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with attempted theft of property or services and computer unlawful acts.
Cedeno was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remained Tuesday in the Riley County Jail, officials said.
