In 2016, Bennett LeBow and his wife, Jacqueline Finkelstein-LeBow, spent nearly $44 million on a pair of side-by-side condos at 432 Park Avenue, the pencil-thin Rafael Viñoly-designed supertall that towers over Midtown Manhattan.

The couple—he the founder and former chairman of the Vector Group, and she a principal at JSF Capital—then invested the next three years and another $40 million combining the two units, one of them still raw space, into a bespoke residence. Ceilings soar to 16 feet, the highest in the building; 24 10-foot-square windows wrap the property, framing Central Park, river, and city skyline views; and a Savant automation system controls the lighting, climate, shades, security, and audio.

The LeBows, who also own homes in New Jersey and the Caribbean, told The Wall Street Journal they are now considering a move to Florida because they are looking to change their lifestyle, listing their glamorous aerie for $90 million with Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of The Eklund | Gomes team at Douglas Elliman.

Occupying the entire 64th floor of the 96-story skyscraper, the residence sprawls over 8,000 square feet with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, plus two powder rooms. Acclaimed interior designer Tony Ingrao punctuated the spacious rooms with glossy sycamore, anigre, mahogany, and burled wood; custom-made furnishings and fixtures from Europe; and fluted pilasters and columns hand-carved in Italy.

A private elevator landing leads into a vestibule, which opens through brass-and-glass doors into the entrance gallery. From there, a corner living room features Rosa Aurora stone floors, a star-shaped chandelier, a wet bar, and pocketing glass doors sliding to reveal a dining room beneath a recessed gold-leaf ceiling cove. The adjacent kitchen hosts a center island and Gaggenau appliances, while the service wing includes two entrances and a half-bath for staff. Nearby, the corner family room comes with a concealed projector and a 111-inch drop-down screen.

Just off the main entrance is a powder room and two guest bedrooms, both with a private bath, as well as a study. An entire wing is dedicated to a roughly 2,000-square-foot primary suite with a massive bedroom, dual bathrooms, and two custom dressing rooms equipped with an automated wardrobe system. To ensure seamless service, the dressing rooms have separate entrances from the corridor so staff can lay out clothes and clean without ever entering the bedroom. There’s a second, less formal family entrance just off the family room.

Monthly taxes and common charges total about $50,000, covering a 24-hour doorman and concierge services. More than 30,000 square feet of building amenities include a health club, a children’s playroom, a communal roof terrace, and a wellness spa with a private massage room and a 75-foot indoor lap pool. There’s also a billiards room, plus a private screening room and a residents-only restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt.

After its 2015 completion, 432 Park Avenue achieved high-profile sales, including several penthouses trading for over $80 million. In 2021, the condo board filed a lawsuit citing design and construction defects. Developers refuted many of the claims, but building sales experienced a downturn. Remediation is currently underway with litigation nearing resolution.
