A maintenance employee in upstate New York has died after becoming trapped in a piece of industrial equipment.The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was working at the Fort Miller Company in Easton, New York on Wednesday when the man became trapped in a piece of machinery.The employee was fatally injured and had to be removed from the machine. He died at the scene.The name of the victim is not being released until his family can be notified and an autopsy can be performed.The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will be conducting an independent investigation with the sheriff’s office.
