Woman, 23, fatally shot in eye on Bronx street

A 23-year-old woman was fatally shot in the eye on a Bronx street early Thursday, police said.

Reyna Caceres was shot in the left eye on Aqueduct Ave. near W. 181st St. about 12:10 a.m.

Medics rushed her to St. Barnabas Hospital but she could not be saved. She was about half a mile from home when she was shot, according to cops.

The killer, wearing all black, got away and has not been caught. No motive has been established, police said.
