The ANI Life Network held an Open House on May 19 to launch the ANI Life Center, a first-of-its-kind community hub designed to empower, support, and celebrate individuals of all abilities. This innovative center, located at 61-35 220th Street in Bayside, represents a major step forward in providing comprehensive, person-centered resources that foster independence, creativity, connection, and lifelong growth for neurodivergent individuals and other community members.

During the Open House, community members and professionals were invited to tour the facility, which provides a powerful network of services and opportunities under one roof. Developed in collaboration with ANIBIC and Spirit of Huntington, the ANI Life Center offers life skills development, vocational training, creative arts, wellness initiatives, and social engagement opportunities. Each program is tailored to meet individuals where they are, while encouraging growth, confidence, and meaningful participation in everyday life.

“At its core, the ANI Life Center is about belonging,” said Paul Pokalsky, Executive Director of ANI Life Network. “We are creating a space where individuals feel seen, supported, and inspired. This center is a reflection of what’s possible when a community comes together with compassion, vision, and purpose.”

The innovative initiative was recognized with citations from U.S. Congresswoman Grace Meng, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Jr., and New York State Assemblymembers Nily Rozic and Sam Berger.

Through its alliance with ANIBIC, the center provides critical behavioral and developmental support services, helping individuals build essential skills for independence and success. Meanwhile, Spirit of Huntington enriches the center with dynamic arts programming—offering music, visual arts, and performance experiences that unlock creativity and self-expression.

The ANI Life Network integrates a broad continuum of services designed to support individuals across the lifespan. From structured day programs and pre-vocational training to community integration and recreational activities, the ANI Life Center serves as a central hub where individuals and families can access the resources they need in a supportive and welcoming environment.
