First responders quickly knocked down a car fire in Rockland County after a Clarkstown police officer on patrol spotted the flames traveling towards a home.
The officer called for help, and firefighters from Valley Cottage and Congers responded to the call.
Fire officials say the fire spread to several vehicles in a driveway but was brought under control before it could reach the house.
