BOERUM HILL — LDV Hospitality has launched Koju, its first Japanese restaurant, inside Ace Hotel Brooklyn in Boerum Hill. Led by chef Kevin Garrison and restaurateur Hiro Nishida, the 14-seat omakase bar blends craftsmanship and intimacy in a space designed by Studio Tre, according to Hospitality Design.

The dark green stone counter, cedar walls and bamboo ceiling panels, along with a 19th-century Japanese screen, evoke a refined naturalism.

Koju also features an immersive music program, with 120 vinyl records of vintage Japanese pop played on a glowing turntable and handmade speakers.
